So I called Z1 today to talk to them about the Sport 535 turbos that I was planning on purchasing to find out whether they were in fact Sport 535s or an equivalent. John told me that this turbo doesnt actually come from Jim Wolf (hence its not technically a Sport 535) but is (what some had said) an equivalent ball bearing turbo, built with the same parts, housings, and has identical stats, etc. and it even needs the same 5-bolt downpipe. Im receiving a good warranty and a great price, and as long as I dont have to worry about eating costs of faulty parts, Im happy... Ill keep everyone up to date on how well they end up running.
But as of now, Id recommend Z1 to anyone. If the engine runs as well as their service, Ill be happy =) Thanks for your comments
